Need recipes

I need two good tried and true recipes.

1: Smoothie. Must have no added sugar and less than 5 ingredients. I have strawberries and bananas as the main fruits.

2: Roasted asparagus, or any other variety of cooking. Not many more ingredients other than asparagus and oil.

I have these three cartons of strawberries and bunch of asparagus I need to get rid of tomorrow.

Thanks much :)

Here's a link to my favorite smoothie. I'm too lazy to type it up again. :) I don't know if it meets your no sugar added requirement because there's some sugar in the yogurt and oj, but there's not much!

I use yogurt in my smoothies. I also throw in ground flax seeds and even wheat bran. Smoothies are so forgiving that I just throw stuff in, starting with the ice, little milk (but not necessary), yogurt, strawberries, bananas.

I don't think smoothies need sugar, but using agave as a sweetener is better than honey in smoothies because honey has such a distinct taste, IMHO.

Can't wait to see what people say about asparagus since mine went bad cuz I didn't know how to make it.

I'm not a big spinach girl, but I like to put two handfuls of spinach with strawberries, a banana, and blueberries to make a tasty smoothie. It's super healthy, and though I feel like I'm splurging a little with the blueberries, in the end I think its worth it.
I'm thinking I need more recipes from you! Not the other way around.

You really can't go wrong with smoothies--put in the bananas and strawberries and add some OJ and yogurt and you're good to go! The smoothie is yummiest if the berries and/or bananas were frozen when you put them in.

As for the asparagus, wash, snap off the woody part, toss with the oil and saute until they're tender. Add a little salt to taste. Delish!

I like to throw a little milk, a little crushed ice, strawberries, blueberries, one banana and a couple of handfuls of spinach in the blender. It's really good!

As for the asparagus, I am your woman on this. Put the stalks in a glass dish (8x8 or 9x13 or whatever you have). Drizzle a little EVOO on them. Season with a little salt and some freshly ground black pepper. Stick 'em in the oven at 400 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. They will be fabulous and everyone will love your awesome asparagus. Also: add some peppers (red, yellow, orange) in as well. It's a lovely, colorful, yummy, and HEALTHY veggie dish.
